Castlecliff is Wanganui's seaside suburb.

Even though parts of the suburb are the most distant from the central city, good public transport, its own small shopping centre and popular schools and Kohanga Reo make this a very popular suburb.

In recent years Castlecliff has ben under going a resurgence of appeal as new owners move to take advantage of sections overlooking the sea and existing residents take pride in upgrading the amenities of the area.
